The DeMiero Jazz Fest will be following the Covid Safety Policy set forth by the Edmonds Center for the
Arts, as outlined on their website:

This Policy will be used at ALL DeMiero Jazz Fest venues. Failure to comply with this policy will result in
non-admittance to all venues.
Upon entry, ALL ATTENDEES, including students, teachers, chaperones, volunteers, festival staff, guest
artists, clinicians, etc., regardless of age, (which includes children of all ages), will present proof of
full vaccination and matching photo ID.
Those unable to be vaccinated, including all children 5 and under, must provide proof of a negative
COVID-19 PCR lab test taken within 72 hours of festival entry time or a negative COVID-19 antigen lab
test (home kits/tests will not be accepted) taken within 24 hours of festival entry time.
MASK REQUIREMENT:
Masks (worn over mouth and nose) are required for all attendees, in all areas of all venues, except when
actively eating or drinking in designated areas: ECA’s patio, lobby, and gym. Eating or drinking
is NOT permitted in ECA’s theater at this time.
We take your health and the health of all of our participants very seriously. In addition to the above ECA
Policy, we will also be taking the following health and safety measures:
– Microphones and high-touch equipment will be disinfected before each group.
– All students will wear masks at all times, including during performances.
– Warm-up rooms will be aired out for approximately 30 minutes between school groups.
– Schools will be seated in separate areas maintaining a minimum 3ft distance between schools
during the daytime and evening performances and during lunch time.
Please allow extra time and arrive early for shows, performances, volunteer shifts, etc. If you are sick,
stay home!
PLEASE NOTE: These protocols are subject to change in compliance with revisions to national and local
guidelines regarding COVID-19. While we will provide the most up-to-date public health procedures to
improve participant safety, they are not an absolute protection against contracting COVID-19. The ECA
and DeMiero Jazz Fest do not accept liability for the transmission of infectious diseases. Attend at your
own risk.
